In a sharp and emotional address during a public event in Simri Bakhtiyarpur, Saharsa, Union Minister Jitan Ram Manjhi raised serious concerns about the political marginalization of his party in the Bihar Assembly.

Speaking at a Milan Samaroh, the MSME Minister said that with only 4 MLAs out of 243, their voices are ignored in the Assembly. He stressed that if his party wins at least 20 seats in the upcoming elections, he will ensure long-pending pro-poor policies are implemented.

👉 Manjhi recalled his tenure as Bihar CM when he had directed the Land Reforms Department to distribute 13 lakh acres of government land among the landless.
👉 He took a strong dig at the Indira Awas Yojana and PMAY, questioning how joint families are expected to live in single-room houses — “Are they animals?” he asked.
👉 He demanded at least 5 decimal land per family, with 2-room houses, toilets, and electricity under housing schemes.
